Sarah Faulkner has always loved music. Born and raised in North Bay Ontario, she was inspired to pick up the guitar in 2021. The rest, as they say, is history.
A familiar face at local open mics and busking near the waterfront, she has developed a distinct style of playing, blending dynamic vocals and raw, emotional guitar. Performance is a large part of her live music, lending depth and new meaning to songs.
Sarah Faulkner's diverse repertoire of covers is sure to please anyone. From rock to indie to folk, she adds her own twist to each song. She mostly does acoustic guitar gigs, but is no stranger to rocking out on the electric!
Music is an experience. When performed well, it can take your breath away.
Her original music is poetic and powerful. She tries to capture the little moments and emotions that shape us. Sometimes biting, but never boring, she paints her view of life, with both the good and the bad.
Currently working on her Music Production degree at Canadore, she continues to write music and perform. She released her first EP, "A View From the Ground" in March 2025.
